Position Title: Sponsor Donor Support Associate I
This entry-level associate assists with the day-to-day processes and activities to service the sponsor-donor connection. Specifically,
the sponsor and donor services associate assists the processing of child sponsorship, child survival, youth and other field program
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
-Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like
attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
-Acts as an advocate for children. Understands and advances Christ's mandate to protect children. Raises awareness of the needs of
children and takes active steps to help protect against neglect, abuse, and exploitation of children. Promotes the dignity, respect,
positive treatment, potential of children in all circumstances. Encourages the involvement of others in helping children in need.
Reports and appropriately supports responses to incidents of harm of children if they occur.
-Assists with coordinating the gathering of communication resources from the church partner.
-Follows production schedules with deadlines and acts on feedback on the quality of information received.
-Supports various field office staff to process marketing or external relations related information.
-Generates, organizes, records, and tracks child, mother-child unit and student information and correspondence documents.
-Helps monitor quality of documents and enters them into the database for dispatching.
-Produces electronic child information by entering child and sponsorship data into database and produces database reports and
maintains computer files. Also reviews, approves or rejects child information received.
-Often provides some general administrative support.
-Master how to sell ideas and clearly explain issue;
-Uses communication skills and common courtesy ;
-Expressed understanding of the concept of mission especially the Mission of God or expressed desire to engage with it and serve
according to its principles;
-Understanding the developmental concepts of sustainability, local and stakeholder’s ownership and how it links with the Mission of
-Capacity to relate and interact with Church leaders in mutual respectful and appreciation of each one’s ministry with missiologically
awareness and sound way. • Perfect knowledge of Moba language will be an added value.
University Level In Marketing, Communication/Journalism
Two years' experience in Marketing, Communication/journalism.
